Why Do Dogs Greet Their Owners So Enthusiastically?

Why do dogs get so excited when they see their owners?

You can answer this question in two ways.

The First Method:

Dogs appear to be excited, but they are just doing what they are doing to benefit themselves, not us. They live with us and rely on us for food and shelter. We have only selected and bred canines who respond to us in ways that make us feel good about ourselves. To be fair, everyone comes out ahead. We are taken care of, and they are fed.

The Other View:

Dogs really are happy to see us. Dogs are able to feel. They worry, care, want to help, and really react to things going on around them in their own sensitive dog way. They are a wonderful gift to people who don’t deserve it, and they show a kind of beauty and sweetness that people tend to forget is still out there.

What’s My Opinion?

Well, I think the answer is clear to anyone who has ever been loved by a dog.
